Emanuel Eboue is a former Ivorian professional football player who played as a right-back. He was born on June 4, 1983, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Eboue began his youth career in ASEC Mimosas in his home country and later moved to Beveren in Belgium before joining English club Arsenal in 2005.
During his time at Arsenal, Eboue played a significant role in the team, helping them to reach the Champions League final in 2006. He also won two FA Cup trophies with Arsenal in the 2005-06 and 2008-09 seasons.
Eboue played for other clubs later in his career, including Galatasaray, Sunderland, and Cypriot club Türk Ocağı Limassol. He retired from professional football in 2018.
In 2017, he made headlines when he disclosed that he had experienced major financial and personal problems following his divorce from his wife. He opened up about contemplating suicide at one point and being helped by former teammates.
